Daily House of Commons question period
Follow along as opposition parties question the Liberal government in the House of Commons.
The House is meeting for special “hybrid” (in-person and virtual attendance) sittings of the COVID-19 committee, which consists of all members of the House. During hybrid sittings, the timing of question period may change.
Here are details for question period during regular sittings of the House:
- Monday-Thursday 2:15-3 p.m. ET, Fridays 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. ET
- Leader of the Opposition asks first questions.
- All questions are posed through the Speaker. Generally, PM answers only leaders’ questions.
